Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. This information is used to identify you and to communicate with you about your account.

Learning activity. We collect data about your use of the Platform, including topics you have completed, quiz scores, quiz attempt history, and lesson navigation. This data is used to track your progress and personalize your learning experience.

Feedback submissions. If you submit feedback through the Platform's feedback tool, we collect the content of your submission along with your account information and the page context in which it was submitted.

Messages. If a teacher or administrator sends you a message through the Platform's messaging feature, the content of those messages is stored in association with your account.

Usage data. We may collect technical information about how you access the Platform, such as your device type, browser, and IP address. This information is used solely for security monitoring and to improve Platform performance.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account
• To track and display your learning progress
• To deliver AI-assisted tutoring and quiz content
• To allow teachers and administrators to support your learning
• To respond to your feedback and improve the Platform
• To ensure the security and integrity of the Platform
• To comply with our legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use the following third-party services to operate the Platform. Each has its own privacy practices which we encourage you to review:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and user data storage. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Anthropic — AI tutoring responses (Claude API). Your chat messages and quiz interactions may be processed by Anthropic to generate responses. See anthropic.com/privacy.

We share only the minimum data necessary with each provider to deliver the Platform's features. We do not authorize these providers to use your data for their own independent purposes beyond providing services to us.

The Platform may use cookies or browser local storage to maintain your session, remember preferences (such as your selected quiz difficulty), and support authentication. These are functional in nature and are required for the Platform to operate correctly.

We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We retain your account information and learning activity for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the Platform's Account panel, your profile, progress data, quiz history, feedback, and messages will be permanently deleted from our database. Deletion is irreversible.

Residual copies may persist in encrypted database backups for a limited period following deletion, consistent with our backup retention schedule.

The Platform is intended for individuals aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

If you are between 13 and 18 years old, your parent or guardian should review this Privacy Policy and consent to your use of the Platform.

You have the following rights with respect to your information:

• Access. You may view the information associated with your account by logging in to the Platform.
• Correction. If your account information is inaccurate, contact us to request a correction.
• Deletion. You may delete your account at any time via the "Your Account" panel in the Platform. This permanently deletes all associated data.
• Progress reset. You may reset your learning progress at any time via the "Your Account" panel without deleting your account.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law. To exercise any rights not available through the Platform's interface, please contact us using the information in Section 10 below.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cloud infrastructure, and access controls limiting who can view user data.

However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
